Keeleigh Rae Ball (Plymouth)

Lisa Brewin (Leeds Beckett)

""As a professional figure skater for the past two decades, I have had the pleasure of combining two passions in my life, ice skating and travel. When the pandemic hit my life was turned upside down, but I was determined to use the time wisely and continue my passion for travel. I am now in my second year of university for International tourism management at Leeds Beckett.

In my travels I have visited 82 countries and islands, 33% of the world and 47% of Europe. For the past 11 years I have worked onboard Royal Caribbean cruise lines as a performer and crew member. It is here, discovering the world by sea I truly knew my heart belonged in my passport. I am extremely passionate about tourism, hospitality, and entertainment. I believe you should always leave your audience wanting more. I am very excited to become a student ambassador for the Institute of Travel and Tourism and grow my connections in this incredible industry full of opportunities and adventure.

""Naomi Page Brough (UCB)

As the tourism industry increasingly grows, so too, new exciting opportunities evermore increase which, although exciting, can make navigating a career within tourism all the more daunting. Therefore, it's inspirational that industry businesses have come together through ITT to reach out and encourage students with their stories. As an ITT student ambassador for University College Birmingham, I hope to assist ITT in inspiring the next generation of tourism leaders whilst progressing in my own career.

If you were to ask people around me what kind of person I am, the response would be an enthusiastic extrovert on the constant lookout for a challenge. Recent challenges include navigating the front desk in a multilingual environment in the stunning city of Rome or adapting to a different approach to studying in Sweden for a semester. The tourism industry constantly challenges us to be better and I strongly believe tourism has the opportunity to globally unite people in creating a better tomorrow.

Having lived in Japan for half a year, I intend to use the skills and experience gained from my study abroad to make meaningful contributions to the Institute of Travel and Tourism as a Student Ambassador. I am eager to get involved and engage with my peers as Student Ambassador.
I look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
